Hat Dance!

Josh was trying to catch Juliette saying she didn't like the flax powder I put in her smoothie the other night for some extra fiber--she loved the thing and asked for seconds...well, shook her empty cup at me and said Cup, which is her way of saying Mom that was awesome..please may I have come more? Anyway, she got very excited about her hat and did a little dance :).

Wiggles!

Juliette was sitting on her couch- of course- and watching The Wiggles after dinner. Josh caught her doing all the motions to Rock A Bye Your Bear and I managed to get some of it on camera. I missed when she spun around and was actually rocking her arms like they do on Tv. I hope you can hear them singing. She claps, throws her hands in the air, rocks her arms, and puts her finger to her lips to say "shh". Too cute!

New best friend

Josh bought Juliette a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse fold out couch with a sleeping bag. She loves it! We only take it out at night after dinner or else she would sit on it all day! She loves that she can move it herself, she knows how to fold it and unfold it, and she especially loves to line up her friends on it- Minnie, both Mickey toys, Donald and Daisy, and most importantly Max.

M&Ms

Juliette has had her first M&Ms..and she likes them!!

Fun out in the snow

We dressed Juliette all up in her snowsuit and out we went to the new snow this morning. She really likes eating the stuff. I directed her away from the yellow flavor!

Let's Dance!!

Juliette really likes the music that plays on her magnet set!

Daddy's birthday

Happy birthday Daddy!! Josh turned 34 today- tough to believe the first birthdays we spent together he turned 21 and I turned 19. Crazy. Juliette is going through a hat phase this weekend. She wants to wear her little camo hat and Josh's Bloomsburg had all the time, but backwards! I'll post a picture tomorrow.

More Max

Juliette absolutely loves her Max. I think this proves she wants and is ready for a pillow.

New toy box

I ordered Juliette a personalized toy box from the internet and it came last night. It holds sooooo much that our living room actually looks like a living room again. Kind of. I put all her toys in the box while she took a bath. When she was done and came back to the living room, she took them all out again.

Sharing

Juliette will share her toys.....when SHE is ready that is. She'll bring you something and say "Here go" --Here you go. She likes giving us her Minnie and Mickey dolls the most. Here's Josh with the collection. She even sets them in his lap and arranges them.

500!

ok here's what happens when you leave a toddler for less than 30 seconds while she feeds herself. Applesauce was EVERYWHERE!! I have no idea how she did it.

500 posts through the life of Juliette! Yay :)

Scavenger!

The other night we were eating pizza with Chris and Kelley and Juliette just came over and grabbed a piece off of my plate! She must have still been hungry after her dinner because she ate half of it! I didn't think she'd be able to manage eating it as a whole slice, but she loved it!

First taste of peanut butter

I gave Juliette her first PB&J a few weeks ago. I used the duck cookie cutter so she liked it too much to eat it at first. She kept pointing to it--"Duck! Duck!" Yep it was a duck...until she tore that sucker in half!
Hmmm...not bad.

Gotta lick the gooey stuff off!

Sticky!

Phone calls!

Juliette's favorite thing now is getting the phone and making the buttons glow and beep...and dial. Here she is pushing the buttons, holding it to her ear, and saying "Hewwo Nana!" Sometimes she calls Daddy, but mostly it's Nana.

Hanging with the boys

Cindy was sick last week so we were scrambling for places for the baby. I took one day off and she stayed with the Clouds another day. I wasn't too worried since she loves Sharee and Tommy is very gentle with her. Ben was also a big help and brought Juliette's cup to her from the fridge and shared his toys. She had fun during the day and Sharee sent me pictures throughout the day.

Juliette and Ben enjoyed watching the snow fall...for the whole five minutes it fell :(

After a hard day of playing....

Let's GO!!

Juliette just wanted to get out of the house I think after a few super cold days in PA over Xmas break. Here we are on our way out to the mall...with her lunch box of course :).

First haircut

I keep forgetting to put up the pictures of Juliette's first haircut! Here they are!!

She did NOT like the cape at all. BTW Trina has been doing MY hair since I was 14.

But she thought the brush and combs were pretty cool.
A little off the top---don't even think about touching the curls!!

And the finished version now has Juliette's bangs out of her eyes!

Mickey!!

Juliette was feeling yucky the other night so we stayed home while Josh went out shopping. He came home with a big Mickey Mouse head balloon! She LOVED it and drags it everywhere!

No love

Juliette just doesn't love anything....still cute though.

New bathtub fun trick

Juliette has figured out how to make waves in the tub by launching herself up in kind of a frog hop to watch the toys in the water go up and down. It's quite entertaining for her!

Uh oh

Josh was on his way to Cindy's house yesterday when he called me saying he was bringing her back home. Cindy was sick. Luckily with my job I can stay home and not have to make sub plans....a definite upside to elementary school. Last night she called sounding like death and said she wasn't watching kids today either. Sharee is watching Juliette today and saving our butts. I told Josh to write some sub plans just in case for tomorrow, but we might not even have school tomorrow with this snow/ice we are supposed to get today. I know Juliette will have a blast- she loves Sharee and Tommy is very gentle with her.

A white Christmas....kind of

Grandpa got Juliette a sled- which she loved to ride on inside the house. There was a little....really little, bit of snow still on the ground for Christmas so we loaded her onto it. We couldn't stay out long because she wouldn't keep her gloves on. Maybe it was because she did not want to let go of her little utensils from Aunt Mari!!

I think the spatula really completes the winter look, don't you?

Go Daddy!!

Opening Presents

Juliette had fun pulling things out of her gift bag. What was her favorite thing? A box of crayons!! She played with those all morning with her coloring book. The big Mickey Grandpa bought her last year got lots of hugs too.

It's Christmas!!!
A Mickey puzzle!

Crayons!!
Coloring with Daddy.

Loving Mickey...or choking the Christmas spirit out of him????

Christmas morning

When we got Juliette up for Christmas, she was not a happy camper. Mommy has a great picture though!!

Ready for Santa

We dressed Juliette up in her Minnie Mouse Santa pajamas Daddy got her and she was ready for bed. Of course Max had to be with her.

Xmas Eve Night

Not to break with tradition, Christmas Eve night was spent with the Olshefskis. Juliette had a blast with her present from Aunt Mari---kitchen utensils!! She kept running around with them from the living room to the dining room and back again, showing everyone what she got!

Lots

I didn't realize I took over a hundred pictures while we were in PA, obviously can't include them all, but here are a few. Let's start with Xmas Eve:

So we started with a nice brunch with my sister, niece, and nephew. Presents needed to be opened, but first, Juliette needed a muffin!

Aunt Dawn had some good cookies!!

Cousin Shane!

Cousin Paige- Juliette clung to her!
