Bathtime fun

Juliette's new game in the tub is to put her visor on--it keeps the water out of her eyes when I wash her hair, or rather it's SUPPOSED to, but it's still a little big around the sides. Then she takes it off, rips apart the velcro ir gives it to me to rip apart, then cries for it to be put back togehter and THEN wants it put back on her head...repeat as necessary.

And yeah, she's a little banged up in these pictures :). She still has a bug bite in the middle of her head and then at Miss Cindy's she got a scratch under her eye.

Charge it!!!

When Juliette gets hold of Josh's wallet, she's not a dumb person. She knows just where to go for the good stuff! Her favorite card is the American Express. She laughs like a hyena when she gets that one out! She's actually pretty good with pulling them out of the little slits. This little robbery happened this morning on our way out the door. Mom kept her home with her--she won't see her again until Thanksgiving so she's spending tomorrow with Juliette too.

Big Bed

When Juliette was sick all she wanted to do was cuddle on the bed- especially since her Mickey pillows were there.

Brush Brush Brush

Brushing her own teeth makes Juliette very happy. Now that she can get in and out of her little chair herself, this is usually her toothbrushing spot.

NANA!!!

Nana brought Juliette a surprise--12 Princess books. She loves these tiny books.

Nana got a lot of love from Juliette in the past two weeks. She's going up to Nana and hugging her legs and not letting go...very cute.

It wasn't me

The cat did it!

Helping Daddy

Juliette likes to do everything we do...cleaning included. She is fascinated by the vacuum but tends to put the one attachment in her mouth so we try to keep her away from it. She also likes helping Josh open and close the dishwasher.

New hiding places

Juliette figured out how to open the cupboard on her great great grandmother's buffett(spelling?) table. She hid some applesauce and found two bottles of my flocking paper- used for scrapbooking.

New Pics

She was still sick here, but a smiling sicky :)
A remote and a phone...is there anything else you need dear?

Finally better

After being sick almost the entire month of September, Juliette is finally all better! Of course this means that tomorrow she'll get another runny nose and it will start over again. Last Thursday night she ran a fever of 103.5, we rushed her to the dr and was told it was probably strep because of the fever, a red raw throat, and strange spots all over her. Let me tell you it was not fun holding her while they did the throat culture. We started her on antibiotics and Josh ran up to Baltimore to get Nana!!! He stayed home with her on Friday and I called about 5 times to check on her. Mom watched her Monday-Wednesday and she went back to Miss Cindy's today. Josh made me take her and of course she freaked out, but as soon as I left the room she stopped crying and I ran out of there before she could spot me again. So that was our excitement this week.

Every day Juliette seems to learn how to do more. She can now get in and out of her little chair she got for her birthday- pictures to come Mar. She is starting to use the spoon a little bit to feed herself stuff that can't easily fall off or get chucked at us. She woke up yesterday at 5:30 after we think a bad dream so we popped in a Mickey Mouse from On Demand and as soon as she saw it she said--I swear to God--Mouka too. TO those of you unfamiliar with the Clubhouse...that's Mouska Tool. AND she said it when Toodles came on the screen---toodles bring Mickey the Mouska Tools...I personally like when they have a baby elephant tool. Those things are handy let me tell ya!

Reading

Juliette is still a little book lover
Plus she loves the Mickey Mouse pillow cases from Aunt Mari!!

Poor Baby

Juliette had a pretty nasty reaction to her shot with a fever and cold. I stayed home with her a day this week and she bounced back pretty quickly. She's still got a little bit of a leaky nose, but she's back to her normal happy self. She's still got a little appetite issue, but her lack of an appetite probably looks like a normal appetite for any other kid :). When she was particularly cranky one day this week we took her outside...problem solved as usual.
Oh yeah and this wonderful bruise is the result of a slip and cracking her head on the side of our ottoman in the living room.
