We had a two hour delay this morning so we got to play a little longer. I tore a piece of paper off the big roll the contractor left here so they wouldn't track dirt in the house and gave Juliette some crayons. She likes crayons, but she has always just banged them on the paper and made little dots. She's always proud of those dots though! This morning she actually scribbled on the paper! We were so proud :).

Christmas Party at Salem
Saturday night we went to Salem Fields Community Center for their Christmas party to see our friends' granddaughter do her little preschool program. When Julietter gets older she's is going to love it, but this year she was content to eat from her snack sup and bum popcorn pieces off her buddy Rachel. The tree in the center of the room was at least 30 feet tall. Juliette just stood there and stared at it. She didn't even try to touch it. She did show a lot of interest in the moon bounce, but I knew better than to try to put her in since she freaked out last month when I put her in one.
Hmm and who are you scarey thing with no eye sockets??

Big Present
Nana and Grandpa wanted to get Juliette a kitchen for Christmas and it came the other day. Josh put it together yesterday while she was sleeping and she saw it when she woke up and came into the real kitchen. She went nuts! She started dancing and clapping her hands...it was so cute. She played with it for hours.
Christmas Parade
Yesterday was the Spotsylvania Christmas Parade so we bundled up Juliette and went to watch it with some friends. It was over an hour long and the school bands were pretty good. There are a lot of Girls Scouts, Boy Scouts, and twirling groups in the area!! Juliette liked the motorcycles and the horses. She even waved to some people on floats as they went by. She did NOT like the idea of sitting in her stroller so she was passed between me, Josh, and another favorite person Uncle D.W.
Thanksgiving dinner
We tried to time our dinner so we were eating while Juliette slept, but she had other plans and would not take a nap. Here are a few of the pictures of her turkey day....of course she's her father's daughter and ate her dinner while watching football. we taught her how to do TOUCHDOWN! with her arms. In one picture she is giving the "no good" signal :). Her feast? Olives, stuffing, and cranberry sauce. She's not much of a meat eater.

Visit to the ER
My bonehead husband made it possible for us to enjoy the brand new hospital's ER on Tuesday night after a run in with his model airplane's propellors----while they were running. Our bedroom looked like a crime scene with all the blood splattered from his hands. Thankfully Nana was here to wait at the house with the baby while we went to the hospital and didn't get home until after 1 am.
