Back from break

We are back to work after a nice break. It felt long, but not long enough! I got very used to being home with Juliette again and she got used to sleepingin until 8:30! Well, so did her parents! This morning was a struggle getting her out of bed. She looked at us like "What the heck people???" Josh said it was payback :). I will be posting pictures soon of her Xmas, first time in a sled, and first haircut soon. Hopefully tonight.

2 hr delay!

We had a two hour delay this morning so we got to play a little longer. I tore a piece of paper off the big roll the contractor left here so they wouldn't track dirt in the house and gave Juliette some crayons. She likes crayons, but she has always just banged them on the paper and made little dots. She's always proud of those dots though! This morning she actually scribbled on the paper! We were so proud :).

Christmas Party at Salem

Saturday night we went to Salem Fields Community Center for their Christmas party to see our friends' granddaughter do her little preschool program. When Julietter gets older she's is going to love it, but this year she was content to eat from her snack sup and bum popcorn pieces off her buddy Rachel. The tree in the center of the room was at least 30 feet tall. Juliette just stood there and stared at it. She didn't even try to touch it. She did show a lot of interest in the moon bounce, but I knew better than to try to put her in since she freaked out last month when I put her in one. Hmm and who are you scarey thing with no eye sockets??

Juliette, Nana, and Mickey

Mom brought down an Mickey Mouse tin ornament and Juliette fell in love. Here she is giving it a hug. However, later that day Mickey had an unfortunate event and lost his nose. Super glue surgery is scheduled for a later date.

Reading corner

We're rearranged the living room.....again....for Miss Juliette to have some more space. This time we ended up with a little book nook for her with her bean bag and Mickey pillow. She seems to like it and will spend her time pulling all the books off the shelves right after we put them up there.

Big Present

Nana and Grandpa wanted to get Juliette a kitchen for Christmas and it came the other day. Josh put it together yesterday while she was sleeping and she saw it when she woke up and came into the real kitchen. She went nuts! She started dancing and clapping her hands...it was so cute. She played with it for hours.
