Sprinkler

Josh bought Juliette a wiggly worm sprinkler and at first she hated it and ran back to the towel in the backyard. Then she would start getting a little closer and closer and then she was having a ball. She liked trying to hit the shooting water.

Minnie Driver

Juliette still loves her little car she got for her birthday last year. She can get on and off by herself and the other day decided that Minnie would like to learn how to drive it. She was getting frustrated that Minnie kept falling off-probably due to her humungous head!

Dora

So needless to say she LOVED her Dora Easter book. That night we read it about 6 times.

Easter basket

When we got home from the beach on Easter Sunday, Juliette was in much need of a nap so I didn't give her her basket right away. We swept the hidden sand off of her little outfit and she was OUT for almost 3 hours. When she got up and saw her basket, she was so excited about the books, eggs, and necklaces, that she ran over to her daddy and gave HIM a hug and said thank you! The nerve!!! Haha. After I opened a few of the eggs to show her there was candy inside, Juliette got the hang of cracking them open herself.

Beach Pictures

Ok so here are just a few of the pictures from VA Beach. There are about 100 of them, but these are my favorite :).

Cute

I had to laugh at this picture from a few weeks ago. She looks like she's giving a tour of the yard--And here is the lovely plant by the pool!

Shimmy!

Juliette has been doing this little butt shake for a while now--it's too cute and I finally got it on camera.

Technology girl

Josh bought an app for Juliette that has all different nursery rhymes and games for each one. She can touch the screen to make different things happen and one of her favorites is whacking the grannie in 3 Blind Mice. It's like whack a mole and she loves hitting the lady- I guess it's good for eye-hand coordination...something like that! :)

Lots to show and tell

So from the title you can guess a lot has been happening this week with Spring Break. We got back from Va Beach yesterday and Juliette loved every second we spent on the beach except for when the wind blew the sand hard into her, but I hate that too. Dinners were a challenge, but our friends were understanding that one of us would have to stay with Juliette since it became obvious after the first night that if we had even the slightest view of the beach, which every restaurant does, she would try to bolt for the door to get outside. Soooooo one of us ate, the other took a doggie bag back to the hotel room :). Not ideal, but worked out perfectly for Juliette. Today I am thankful that it is gorgeous outside and we just came in from about 90 minutes playing with her new toy- a wiggly sprinkler. Photos to come! :)
Here are a few pictures from her first trip to Carl's Ice Cream in downtown Fredericksburg. It's been featured on Discover and the Travel Channel. There aren't a lot of choices, but what they do, they do well; Chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, sundaes, and rootbeer floats that are amazing because it's not soda, it's like a rootbeer slushy on the bottom. Amazing.

Long Day

Sometimes after a hard day of riding rides, you just want to sit by a fountain :).

New playground

We didn't realize that the playground by our local YMCA was for everyone. I should have checked the name because it's called Everyone's Park. Juliette loves it- especially this slide and a tube slide.

Snoopy!!!

When Juliette saw Snoopy, she ran right over to him. The end of the clip is her running away, but we had to stop filming to catch her---she ran right back to him as another kid went to give him a hug.

Driver in training

Juliette finally got the hang of driving the little car at King's Dominion!
