New Experience

This weekend we took Juliette to King's Dominion for the first time. We were a little worried because, while she loves to be spun around and held upside down, and lal that good stuff, she doesn't much like the little rides at the mall. When we got there we were greeted by Sally from the Peanuts gang and Juliette thought she was pretty cool and waved at her and told her bye. Then we hit Kidzville and the rides for her. Josh gave me the job of putting her onto the rides- of course. We picked a little jeep ride that went in a circle---all of the rides just went in a little circle except for the 4x4 ride that followed a track-- and she clung to me for a second, but as soon as it started moving, she liked it. She even waved to us! Then we went on the swings, a little helicopter thing, a hotrod car, the pirate's treasure cave that we walked through, a pirate show with Charlie Brown and Lucy, and the 4x4 ride on the track. That one was the funniest because all we could see of her as she rode along was the top of her little hat! It was starting to get chilly so we went home after that. During the pirate show her eyes didn't leave the stage, I'm not sure if she even blinked! WHen the characters walked off stage she waved to them. I wish the park was still owned by Paramount because there used to be a Dora the Explorer circus show. I'll post pictures later. Sunday Josh and I went by ourselves while Nana watched Juliette to do some big people things, but I had to admit it was more fun being there with the baby.
